In April 2005 Groundwork North Northants were chosen by Kettering Borough Council to provide a new community and Voluntary Sector Support Service in the borough.

Kettering Voluntary Network was chosen by the sector as the new name for the support services.

Kettering Voluntary Network aims to support and represent the needs of local voluntary and community groups.  This includes business planning services, identifing funding streams, volunteer brokerage, promoting the sector and ensuring its voice is heard in the public arena.
