!!!!THE OLYMPIC TORCH IS COMING TO KETTERING!!!!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR KETTERING, GEDDINGTON AND DINGLEY

Be part of a never to be repeated opportunity!!

The Olympic Torch will pass through Kettering, Geddington and Dingley on Monday 2nd July. On this day Kettering Borough Council need around 40 volunteers to help safely close roads and ensure that the route is clear for the torch to pass along. Volunteers will be needed from 9am - 3.30pm on the day

There will also be some requirement for leaflet dropping in the immediate area just prior to the event, again volunteers will be needed for this.

Volunteers will be required to attend a safety and instruction based presentation where they will be put into teams and given full details about what will be required on the day, this will be during June and could be either an evening or daytime session.

This is a one off opportunity to see the Olympic Torch pass through the Borough and is a key role for volunteers.

There will be a drop in session for volunteers on 13 June between 6pm - 8pm at the Borough Council Offices.

THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY - BE PART OF IT!
